The purpose this online course is to provide prospective adoptive parents with information on and preparation for adopting a child through a Waiting Child (or Special Needs) program. This course will provide information on the general characteristics and needs of children awaiting adoption, medical descriptions of the needs and resources and information to consider when adoption a Waiting Child. This course provides families with 2 hours of Hague Parent Education Training.
Upon review of this course, families will complete a brief Q and A in order to receive a course completion certificate. |
